Today, this song has played in my head. I heard it last Saturday on CBS Saturday Morning. It's not the prettiest song I've ever heard (though the opening is lovely). What I like in this song is the refrain: "There are always two thoughts, one after the other: I'm alone. No, you're not - I'm alone - No, you're not." Apparently when self-doubt raises questions about belonging, in this song there is always a voice that says: "No, you are not alone."
Joseph is a group of three sisters from Portland, Oregon. They formed their band in 2014. The name of the band comes from the name of the town in eastern Oregon where their grandfather lived.
