It's been another night spent following leads on iTunes: how one song leads to a different song, then to a new one. Eventually, I found Sally Fingerett, and this song. There are voices you hear, and songs, and from the first notes you know there will be tears. This song is a ballad about an unlikely love that endures; it tells the story of how a couple meets, and it follows them through life to when they die.

 

Sally Fingerett is part of the group Four Bitchin' Babes, but in this song Fingerette sings alone. Here is a link to the song, which is part of the 1991 album Buy Me Bring Me Take Me Don't Mess My Hair:
